Overview
Led by Dr. Steven Boyce, one of the top ten heart surgeons in the country, the MyLVAD website was envisioned as the first online community for LVAD patients, their loved ones, and medical professionals. The goal was to create an informational hub where people could post questions, share stories, and learn about new developments in LVAD research. Digital Bungalow was tasked with putting together a website that served the needs of this community and could be easily marketed via word-of-mouth. The result was a blossoming online community with ever-evolving content and a growing video library where users can discover informational videos about the LVAD technology and patient stories. The site was designed to have a bustling discussion forum where everything from surgery recovery to daily nutrition can be discussed among members. Digital Bungalow continues to utilize social media channels to bring more people in on the conversation.
