CHALLENGE
Comedian Rodney Dangerfield's web site got no respect -- until the folks at Digital Bungalow got involved. The comedian's original site did not allow for fans to interact with the comedian via the Internet; regular mail was the only way to communicate and very little information on his tour schedule was available. Dangerfield wanted a site that would allow his fans to keep abreast of his tour schedule and easily send him messages. In addition, he wanted the site to contain a library of his work, sound bytes, and a photo gallery.

SOLUTION
Building a web site that effectively communicates necessary information while reflecting the character of the individual or business is no laughing matter. Digital Bungalow built a web site that contained all the elements that Mr. Dangerfield wanted, but still maintained the look and feel that befitted the legendary comedian. Our design efforts resulted in a site that was totally new in capabilities and included video, audio, and an e-commerce site, while remaining familiar to fans of the comedian. The strategy was to create not just a web site, but an experience, complete with the visual effects and humor that made the Dangerfield brand instantly recognizable and famous the world over.

RESULTS
Today, fans can listen to sound bytes, view video clips, buy Dangerfield memorabilia, and sign up for a newsletter - all things that were not possible prior to the redesign by Digital Bungalow. The team took the time to design a web site that captured the essence of the comedian and allowed for fans to personalize their experience. The site receives up to 2,000 hits per day.
